GetTipzy is a creator engagement and tipping platform for content creators, streamers, gamers, influencers, artists, educators, and other digital creators.

Services may include creator profiles, tipping and payment processing, supporter messages, live donation alerts, Text-to-Speech, creator verification, dashboards, analytics, social integrations, community features, and customer support. Available features may change as GetTipzy evolves.

Account information

We may collect your full name, username, email address, password or authentication credentials, profile picture, phone number where required, account preferences, and other information you voluntarily provide.

Creator information

For creator accounts, we may collect creator names, profile URLs, social links, YouTube channel or Facebook Page information, creator category, profile description, verification information, creator statistics, and public profile information.

Some creator information may be displayed publicly on a GetTipzy profile.

Creators may connect services such as YouTube, Facebook, or other supported platforms. Depending on the permissions granted, we may receive a platform account, page, or channel ID; page or channel name; public profile information; follower or subscriber information; and verification-related information.

We request information needed for the relevant integration. Use of an external platform is also governed by that platform’s privacy policy and terms.

GetTipzy may use payment providers such as bKash, Nagad, SSLCOMMERZ, bank payment services, or other supported providers.

We generally do not need to store your complete card number, PIN, banking password, or other highly sensitive credentials. Payment providers process that information under their own policies and security requirements.

We may receive limited information such as a transaction ID, payment reference, amount, status, method, date and time, and the relevant creator. We use it to process, verify, reconcile, and support transactions.

When you send a tip, we may collect the name or display name provided, email address where supplied, tip amount, message, transaction information, creator receiving the tip, and transaction date and time.

Depending on creator settings, your display name and message may be visible to the creator or shown through a live alert. Avoid sensitive personal information in public tip messages.

If a creator enables Text-to-Speech, a supporter message may be processed by a third-party TTS service to generate audio.

Do not include passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, private addresses, sensitive personal information, or confidential information in supporter messages.

When you access GetTipzy, we may automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, approximate IP-based location, pages visited, referral information, access time, device identifiers, logs, and platform interactions.

This information may be used for security, analytics, troubleshooting, performance improvement, and platform operation.

GetTipzy may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, pixels, and similar tools to maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, detect suspicious activity, and improve security.

You may control cookies through your browser. Disabling certain technologies may affect platform functionality.

• Create and manage user and creator accounts.
• Process, verify, track, and reconcile tips and payments.
• Provide profiles, dashboards, alerts, analytics, verification, and related services.
• Send service emails, notifications, security alerts, and account information.
• Respond to support requests and technical or payment problems.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
• Improve the platform and develop new features.
• Meet applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements.

We do not sell personal information as a business practice.

We may share necessary information with payment processors; hosting, database, analytics, email, authentication, notification, TTS, and security providers; connected social platforms; and trusted service providers operating GetTipzy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, court order, or government request. Information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

A creator may choose to display their name, username, profile picture, description, social links, public statistics, support information, and applicable tip messages publicly.

Creators are responsible for ensuring voluntarily published profile information is appropriate for public display. Information intentionally made public may be accessible to other users or third parties.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access or disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction. Measures may include access controls, authentication, secure communications, and monitoring.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy. The period may depend on the type of information, collection purpose, account status, transaction requirements, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

Transaction and financial records may need to be retained longer where required by law or legitimate business needs.

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, update account information, ask how data is used, withdraw certain permissions, object to certain processing, or close your account.

You may request deletion of your GetTipzy account. Depending on the circumstances, information may be removed or anonymized.

We may retain information needed for legal compliance, financial records, payment transactions, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our terms. Email privacy@gettipzy.com to submit a request.

GetTipzy is not intended for children below the minimum age required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Independent payment, social, analytics, communications, TTS, authentication, hosting, and infrastructure services have their own privacy practices. Review their policies when using those services through GetTipzy.

Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we take appropriate steps to handle transfers according to applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.

We may send essential account, payment, security, and service communications. Where permitted, we may also send promotional messages.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing using the option in the communication or by contacting us. Necessary service, security, payment, and account communications may still be sent.

If we become aware of an incident involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, and address it. Where required by law, we may notify affected users or relevant authorities.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice for significant changes where appropriate.
